How To Help?
We all have mental health, just as we all have physical health. Poor Mental Health can strike any time and affect people from all walks of life and backgrounds.

Although things are improving, stigma still exists, and as a society we don't tend to know how to take care of our mental health like we do our physical health. This means that people may not know how to support a friend, family member or colleague experiencing a mental health issue, or where to go for support with their own mental health.
Training Options
Rejuvenate Mental Health have training options to suit a range of working hours and budgets, from the MHFA Aware, to the Mental Health First Aider (MHFAider) course, delivered Online, in Hertfordshire venues, or in-company at your chosen location.
In Spring 2024 a new hands-on workshop will also be available, introducing mental health awareness in a creative way.
MHFA Refresher training is also available and is important to ensure skills and knowledge are up to date, and to support those who contribute to workplace wellbeing in the role of a Mental Health First Aider (MHFAider), just as Physical First Aiders are.
Training is delivered by an MHFA England approved Instructor Member, CiLD qualified, with DBS registration, Safeguarding certificates, and qualified in both Physical and Mental Health First Aid - so your employees will be in safe, experienced hands.
If you would like a bespoke Mental Health Aware presentation or speaker for an upcoming event, we can do that too.
Become a Mental Health First Aider (MHFAider®)
Mental Health First Aid (MHFA®) is a training course which teaches people how to identify, understand and help someone who may be experiencing a mental health issue.

MHFA won’t teach you to be a therapist, but it will teach you to listen, reassure and respond, even in a crisis – and even potentially stop a crisis from happening.

You’ll learn to recognise warning signs of mental ill health, and develop the skills and confidence to approach and support someone while keeping yourself safe.
You’ll also learn how to empower someone to access the support they might need for recovery or successful management of symptoms. This could include self-help books or websites, accessing therapy services through their GP, their school or place of work, online self-referral, support groups, and more.
What’s more, you’ll gain an understanding of how to support positive wellbeing and tackle stigma in the world around you.

Rejuvenate Mental Health
Hi, welcome and thanks for stopping by😊

I'm Karen, founder of Rejuvenate Mental Health, established in 2020, and have had the honour of delivering physical and mental health first aid training to thousands of incredible people in workplaces across the UK.
I started my training career in 2015 with St John Ambulance, delivering the full suite of First Aid at Work and MHFA England courses up until the pandemic hit. I'm proud to have received several awards for my training delivery and contribution to mental health in the workplace. Importantly, these represent those who went on to make the difference between a life lost and a life saved through learning first aid and were in a position to take action when it was needed most.
I'm a supportive, compassionate Mental Health Trainer, Speaker, and Accredited MHFA England Instructor Member, CiLD qualified, DBS registered, with safeguarding, CBT and counselling qualifications to support my expertise in what I teach, together with my own lived experience of mental ill-health and recovery.
Combined with a solid belief in the benefits and importance of both physical and mental health first aid, I won't teach you to simply gain a certificate, but empower you to be confident in your ability to be the difference if you're in a situation such skills are needed.
