Mental Health Support

You are important and you matter.
There is help for you and recovery is possible.

It is okay to not be okay

As a training provider for Mental Health First Aid (MHFA), this website is unable to provide immediate care and support. However, some people who need this may find themselves here, so I created a Mental Health Directory for you, for anyone, who needs information, contacts, or help in some way regarding their mental health and wellbeing.

I hope too, it will be useful for anyone who is looking to help someone else, and not sure where to start.

Please see the button below to take you to the directory of professional services, who are able to meet a variety of needs, access help, have someone to speak to and who is available to listen and hear you, with some 24/7 access, others, a click or phone call away for guidance and resources.

1 in 4 of us will experience mental ill-health at some point in our lives, and recovery IS possible, there is hope, so please hold on and click the button below to find and connect to the right people for you.

If you are in immediate danger, contact 999 for emergency assistance.

Go to your nearest hospital or GP for urgent support.

If you are at work, go to your Mental Health First Aider who will help you.

The 'useful contacts' included in the Mental Health Directory are by no means exhaustive; it is intended as a start point so nobody struggles to find their new beginning.

Thank you for taking the first steps.
