Mental Health Refresher (MHFA)

Service Description

Empower existing Mental Health First Aiders (MHFAiders) to maintain their skills with regular Refresher training (MHFAider certificate has a 3-year expiry). The Refresher course will support Mental Health First Aiders by: Renewing their skills Updating their knowledge of mental health supports Giving them the chance to practice applying the Mental Health First Aid action plan Enabling your Mental Health First Aiders to refresh their skills, the same way your physical first aiders do, is a great way to demonstrate your organisation’s commitment to treating mental health and physical health equally. Investing in the course will give you the confidence that your Mental Health First Aiders are performing their role safely and effectively. This course includes: MHFA Refresher Manual/Workbook MHFAider App, Support and digital MHFAider Manual. £150 pp

Cancellation Policy

Payment must be made prior to attending the course as this will convert you to a delegate and trigger the provision of your course resources. A confirmation of payment and your booking will be confirmed by email. If you have not received this, please contact me. To cancel or reschedule please be aware that only courses cancelled within 48 hours of booking can be refunded. There is no refund available on any cancellation of booking prior to the course start date after the 48 hour cooling off period. A course booking can be rescheduled up to 7 days prior to the course start date. This can be rescheduled to either an online course or face to face, If a face to face course has to be cancelled due to COVID-19, you will be notified and automatically offered a place on an equivalent online course or invited to attend an alternative face to face course. If you are unwell please do NOT attend the course. If you have a cold, cough or temperature you will be refused entry on the day and an alternative course date will be booked for you. Please note face masks and social distancing will apply to ensure your safety and wellbeing.
