Emergency First Aid
This is a 1-day practical course designed to give learners the essential skills to respond to emergencies in the workplace and is ideal for low-risk environments or supporting a team of qualified first aiders.
The course is fully accredited and meets Health and Safety Executive (HSE) standards and delivers vital first aid knowledge, confidence, and compliance.
What the Course Covers

Understanding the role and responsibilities of a first aider

Assessing an incident

Managing an unresponsive casualty (including CPR and AED use)

Choking, bleeding, burns, shock, seizures, and minor injuries

Infection control and first aid regulations

Incident reporting and workplace documentation

All learners need to be over the age of 16.

Assessment
Continuous practical assessment is carried out by the trainer, including a written assessment. You will need to pass both the practical and written assessments to be awarded the qualification, and this will include being able to perform effective CPR on a manikin and safely placing a casualty in the recovery position.
Certificates
On successful completion, you will receive an accredited Emergency First Aid at Work certificate, valid for 3-years.
Numbers
A maximum of 12 learners and all must be a minimum of 16 years of age.

Cost
£150 Per Person
If you are not from a workplace and would prefer to compete a basic first aid intriduction course, we deliver the RQF Level 2 Basic Life Support Certification which is a 3-hour course.
